James Harrison Elementary School in Laurel, Maryland has reason to be proud. According to an article in the Laurel Leader, Harrison Elementary achieved Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) in 2008 MSA scores. This is the first time in five years the school has earned AYP.
All three of the Laurel, Md. counties improved on the MSA. This followed a Maryland state wide trend of consistent improvement over the last six years.
