District 1 Walk-in Zoning Enforcement Office is NOW Open!

The District 1 Satellite Office for Zoning Enforcement is now open. An
inspector will be on duty at the Satellite Office each day between
10am-2pm (Monday to Friday) to accept complaints and assist citizens of
District 1 in resolving their property maintenance problems.  The
office is under the supervision of Matthew Thomas, Programs Manager. He
is assisted by Donald Green, an Inspector’s Supervisor just posted
to District Team 1.

Zoning enforcement is always a major issue, and it has been a goal to
get this office open so that citizens have easy access to inspectors to
talk about community concerns. It will also make it easier for the
inspectors to investigate complaints since they will be right in the
middle of the community.

As always, it is a good practice to inform my office of your concerns,
too, so that we may lend assistance. Contact my Constituent Services
Aide, Alex Hirtle: (301) 952-5349 or email

My Thanks to Tom Dernoga for supplying the above information.
